This is one of the legendary Second World War Nazi "88mm" HE (High Explosive) rounds. The fuse has the original Nazi Kriegsmarine (Navy) acceptance markings, makers code and date of 1945, but also has post WWII capture stamps. It was in service with the Czech army in 1949 and is marked with "E2" with a prancing Lion. The projectile and case still bears of the original markings and makers codes. The overall condition would indicate that this round was on board a navy ship and used as an anti air craft roll.
The 88mm gun was one of most feared and deadly German guns. It was originally intended for use as Flak gun but was also found to be very effective as a ground weapon. This round was also fired from the German Tiger 1 tanks that were equiped with the KWK 36 L/56 gun. The 88mm shell being more than capable of knocking out any of the Allies tanks or armored vehicles. There are many recorded accounts of Allied tanks being struck by an 88 round, and it going straight through the tanks armor and out the other side.
