Just arrived, Deactivated SLR L1A!

This is a British military SLR (Self Loading Rife) L1A1. It was manufactured by Birmingham Small Arms and dates to the early 1960s. The L1A1 was the mainstay of the British army through many post-war conflicts, it is one of classic UK forces weapons. Most famously used by the British during the Falklands War of 1982 and during the troubles in Northern Ireland. Firing the hard-hitting 7.62mm round, this weapon is remembered fondly by squaddies across the world. Comes with fitted with an original sling.
