A Victorian Era Gentlemans Percussion Pistol

An antique British box lock percussion single shot pistol with central hammer. Circa 1830's. London proof house stamps on the under side of barrel and block with serial 10 visible on barrel, block and trigger guard. It measures 7.5 inched (19cm) in length. Barrel length is 7.3 cm just under 3 inches. Th calibre is an estimated 11.5mm or .452. The action is still crisp and tight and hold back on half and full cock firmly. Hand engraving to the action and hammer with lovely hand chequering to the Walnut grip. This pistol is of an obsolete calibre and can therefore be owned without any form of license. It can be cocked, fully stripped and dry fired.
