A WWII Japanese Arisaka Type 99 rifle "short rifle" chambered in 7.7mm with its original and rare anti-aircraft legs and sights. These rifles were used exclusively by the Japanese Army during WWII, against US forces. This short version of the Type 99 was first introduced into service in 1942 with production ending in 1945. They had several unique features such as monopod legs and anti-aircraft sight. The stocks were made in two pieces of wood with characteristic joint or seam. These rifles are by far the least common of all the Axis powers long arms. Most being captured by US forces and taken home as war souvenirs. This examples comes with its cleaning rod. Still in great original condition. Deactivated with a working action, it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
