Deactivated WWII Japanese Nambu Type 94 Pistol with holster
- Product Code: 56
- Availability: Out Of Stock
An original WWII Nambu Type 94 pistol. The markings indicate that it was produced by the Nambu Rifle Manufacturing Company, as were all of the 71,200 Type 94 pistols, under the supervision of the Nagoya Arsenal. Production started in 1935 and was relatively low with only around 4,000 manufactured in the first couple of years. This one is only number 11,441 and dates to April 1940 production. The Type 94 was very popular among Japanese troops by all accounts due to it's smaller size and weight, and was predominantly issued to Japanese officers. This example retains its original finish and grips and is fitted with the correct period magazine. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired. It comes with a quality reproduction leather holster.
