Deactivated OLD SPEC Rare Carl Gustav M/45 SMG
- Product Code: DEAQ7
- Availability: Out Of Stock
This has to be one of the best examples available of the Carl Gustav manufactured M/45 submachine gun. It has its original military parkerised finish, wooden grips and protective rubber stock piece. Not to be confused with the Egyptian "Port Said", this example has Swedish proof stamps( Crown over letter C) and serial number on the receiver. The additional markings would have been added when it was sold off by the Swedes. As with all Swedish designed and manufactured weapons it is superbly well made.
Work began in 1944 and the final design was ready and adopted into military service in 1945. The M/45 was also used by U.S Special Forces in the Vietnam War. The US referred to it as the "Swedish-K" or "K-Rifle".
Deactivated to old specifications in 1995 with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
