Deactivated WWII Beretta Model 38A (Model of 1938) Submachine Gun

The Beretta 38A was one of the best made mass production submachine guns of the Second World War. It proved to be an excellently made and very durable weapon being used by Italian, German and Romanian forces throughout the entire war. Chambered in the readily available 9mm Parabellum it could be used by Axis and Allied forces if captured. The 38A, unlike most other submachine guns of this period has two triggers, one for full auto and the other for selective fire. It also has a magazine dust cover built in. Although a very effective weapon it was costly to make and for this reason numbers produced were relatively small. This one has matching numbers and is great original condition. A rarely seen WWII Italian machine gun. Comes fitted with a 40 round stock magazine.
