An absolutely stunning condition and rare WWII German G33/40 carbine with matching bolt. The G33/40 was only in production for 3 years, from 1940-1942 with only around 54,000 produced in 1942 . This example being around number 21,386th of that year.  It was produced by Waffen Werke Brunn, Brunn. A shortened and lightened version of the K98, it was issued to German Alpine ski troops. It fired the exact same 7.92mm round, and had the same Mauser 98 action. However, that is where the similarities end. The G33/40 had several different parts that were not matching with the K98. These included: the bolt, stock, cleaning rod, sight hood cover, upper hand guard, barrel bands, sling, and even the bayonet. This stunning example  was made in 1942, and bears the maker's code dot with correct Waffen code 63. Possible the best example of its type available in the UK!. An FAC with the correct variation is required to purchase this rifle. Can be deactivated to order.
