Deactivated WWII Smith & Wesson .38 model 10 Revolver with matching numbers. The serial number dates this revolver to 1941 production when S&W were manufacturing large quantities for the British & Common wealth forces as well as there own. The model 10 is still one of S&Ws most successful revolvers and made an ideal supplement weapon whilst Enfield & Webley struggled to make sufficient numbers due to a shortage of materials and constant air raids from the German Luftwaffe. Very reliable, easy to maintain and more importantly able to chamber the British .38 ammunition. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
