Deactivated WWII K98

Deactivated German WWII K98 manufactured bcd (Gustloff Werke, Weimar) dated 1943. In the latter stages of WWII as the German war effort slowly began to falter, production of many fire arms was simplified to help speed up manufacture. This K98 is an example of that. The bayonet lug was not fitted and metal bands are simply fitted with screws rather than a more complicated spring and clip assembly. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
