Deactivated Old Spec Beretta Model 1938/44 (M38/44) Submachine Gun

Deactivated Old Spec Beretta Model 1938/44 (M38/44) Submachine gun chambered in 9mm. Simplified wartime version of earlier M38A. The 1938/42 was still an excellent weapon. Main specifications same as the model 1938, barrel jacket was discarded and stock shortened reducing weight by 2 lb, and rate of fire 550 RPM. This example is of post-war manufacture and is Police issued. Deactivated in 1991 with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
