 Rare Deactivated Ingram MAC-10 Machine Gun fitted with dummy suppressor. Designed by Gordon Ingram, primarily for the United States Military. The MAC-10 (as it has become known as) has been used by many countries around the world. The suppressor model was so silent that it was a victim of its own success. Many orders were taken from overseas. The American Government soon realized that if sold aboard it may fall into the wrong hands. So it was banned from being sold in its suppressed form overseas. This ruling proved fatal for the Ingram, causing the closure of the company. This example is new to the collectors market. It is capable of fully automatic fire, the model supplied to the Military. They have been used by US Navy Seals and other Special forces, and saw action during Vietnam and more recently in Kuwait. This particular one has also been used for film work.
