This is an excellent condition WWII Czechoslovakian ZB30 machine gun. Like the ZB-26, the Wehrmacht adopted the ZB-30 after the invasion of Czechoslovakia, re-designating it the MG30(t). It was used in the same role as the MG34, as a light machine gun. In the opening stages of World War II, the ZB-30 was used in large numbers by units of the German Waffen SS. They were also deployed and used during the defence of the beaches of France during the Allied D-Day landings. It is considered by many to be the finest light machine gun of WWII. Using the same design, the British developed the legendary Bren gun. This example has been captured and then re-issued. The electro-stenciled numbers are either German or Russian however the Nazi marked magazine may suggest that it was German property during WWII.
