Deactivated Russian M44 Carbine

This is a superb condition all matching numbers - final year of manuafacture Russian Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine dated 1948. The M44 was only in production from 1944 until 1948. This example is from the final year of manufacture with only at Tula and Izhevsk Arsenals making them, this being an Izhevsk carbine. The M44 has been sold and used to many countries all over the world and is still in use today. The Soviets experienced them being used against them in the Chechen Wars and in other rebellious ethnic political subdivisions birthed by the Soviet collapse. U.S. troops have also had bad experiences with the M44 in Korea, Africa, Vietnam, Afghanistan and the First and Second Gulf Wars.
