This is a very rare Heckler & Koch manufactured MP5KA1 that is marked "EN" - Enfield that was imported directly from H&K for use by the SAS. The H&K letter date code "IA" indicates the year of manufacture as 1980. In May of that year saw one of the most famous ever televised SAS raids code named "Operation Nimrod" to rescue the hostages from the Iranian Embassy in London. This rare example has clearly seen service but retaining the majority of its factory painted finish. The Special services branch of the British armed forces (SAS & SBS) are the only permitted users of non-standard weapons. We have it on good authority that they were used during the Troubles in Northern Ireland.

The MP5K is a smaller version of the legendary MP5 but still chambered for same 9x19mm ammunition. This example comes fitted with two high capacity magazines containing inert 9x19mm rounds, H&K magazine clamp and a three point sling.

Deactivated with a tensioned cocking lever and trigger. The safety can also move through the three fire positions - safe, semi and fully automatic fire.
