WW2 US Homelite manufactured HRH 28 Tank Heater-Generator

This is a WW2 US Homelite manufactured HRH 28 Tank Heater-Generator. This type and model was fitted to the Sherman tank during WWII. However, this is example is unlike any other that you are likely to encounter. It has been re-purposed by the Air Ministry (responsible for managing the affairs of the RAF). A fuel tank and different electrical fittings have been added. During WWII the British received quantities of Sherman tanks, including spare parts to maintain them. This example may have been adapted for ground use or fitted to another vehicle or possible a plan. Incredible it still works with the previous owner manufacturing a bespoke exhaust. This can be easily removed if required. The generator uses a two-stroke engine.
