WWI German PO8 Artillery Luger leather holster

This is a First World War Imperial German Army Artillery Luger leather holster. At over 100 years of age it is still in very good condition with all stitching, straps and flaps in tact. The take down tool pouch flap fastener has separated from the leather. Many were either lost in battle or modified after World War One had ended when the Treaty of Versailles banned Germany from having pistols no longer than 100mm in length, making the Artillery holsters obsolete. Many were then shortened to fit a standard Lugers or simply destroyed.
