WWI French Model 1892 Lebel revolver leather holster.

This is a WWI French Model 1892 "Lebel" revolver leather holster. The flap has been cut off. This looks to have been done a very long time ago. Removing it gave easier access to the revolver especially under surprise attack. Holsters were often modified if captured to house different types of sidearms. The M1892 revolver was used by French forces during both world wars. The revolver pictures is not included but is available separately.
