WWII Inert British No69 Hand Grenade

This is a WWII British No69 hand grenade. Designed in 1940, it is a high explosive impact grenade and replaced the Mills bomb. Made from Bakelite, it was only produced in limited numbers during WWII. This example is from the first years production and is dated 1940.

 

The grenade pictured has sold however we have several others available in similar condition and date.
