WW2 German P38 Holster

This is a Second World War Nazi military issued P38 pistol holster. The makers code "bdr 42" is that on Richard Ehrhardt, Lederwarenfabrik, 1942 who used Waffen acceptance stamp WaA86. They only produced the hard shell leather holsters from 1941 to 1943. This example has definitely seen service and required two replacement belt hoops. This look to be a field armorers repair.
