A Second World War dated German MG34 or MG42 Ammunition Box. Dated 1941 with the Nazi acceptance stamp Eagle over WaA879 that used by Adalbert Fischer, Fabriken fur Militärausrüstungen, Werk Guttstadt in Ostpreussen. The box has clearly been issued several times and has its original finish that has been hand painted over with German field grey paint.
