WW2 German K98 Sling

An original WWII German K98 leather sling. The buckle has the leather protector, this was fitted to prevent damage being caused to woodwork of the rifle. The leather stopper is an early type with brass stud. This was replaced during the war with a steel stud as brass became more scarce. Comes complete with buckle, stopper and leather adjuster hoop.

They were also used on a variety other German weapons during WWII, such as the MP44 & G43 rifles.
