This is a genuine WW2 German K98 leather frog for the K98 bayonet scabbard. The makers code is "kvz" = Timmermann & Wollet, Heidelberg and date stamp is 1942. The frog is still in very good condition and is made from stiff black leather with all its rivets and stitching in good order.
