This is a First World War Imperial German Army S98/05 'Butcher' knife bayonet with it original steel scabbard.The bayonet was manufactured by Deutsche Maschinenfabrik AG , Duisburg and is dated 1916 with the Imperial German Army acceptance stamp on the pommel, blade and scabbard.
