Smith & Wesson .32 Rimfire Model 1 1/2 Second Issue revolver.

This is an early production US made Smith & Wesson .32 Rimfire Model 1 1/2 Second Issue single action revolver. This model was in production from 1868 until 1875. Serial numbers didn't start at No1 but instead continued on from where the previous model finished starting at around number 26,301. This example is serial number 33,288 which would put it at around gun number 6,987th, circa 1870. This model was popular during the "wild west" period in the US, being used by gamblers and women for self defence.

This revolver is chambered in an obsolete calibre and can therefor be owned live without any form of license. The rifling is in good condition.

It is not deactivated in any way and is being sold as a collectors piece only. A action is still crisp and firm, indexing correctly when cocked.
