RARE WWII US M4 Kinfolks Bayonet & Scabbard
- Product Code: 4KI44
- Availability: Out Of Stock
This is a WWII US M4 Knife Bayonet By Kinfolks with a 45 dated US M8 scabbard with integral frog by B.M.Co. Manufactured to fit the M1 Carbine, these examples were only produced between October 12, 1944 and continued until April of 1945. Kinfolks made the fewest M4 bayonet producing just 119,702 from the total wartime production of 2,469,956. The pommel is correctly marked with the initials SP. This indicates that Standard Products Company made the pommels for Kinfolks. At some stage during its service life the grips were replaced. The weld securing the grips handle on and the somewhat crude re-shaping of the grips would suggest an armours field repair. The scabbard still retains the platted leather "boot lace". A great many WWII M4 bayonets also saw service in Korea and Vietnam.
