Rare WWI Webley .455 Converted Holster

This is a unique WWI Webley MK6 .455 converted open top holster. During The First World War holsters were converted by troops to suit their personal needs using whatever was to hand. This beautifully hand made holster was designed so that it could be strapped around a soldiers thigh whilst hung from a Sam Brown or webbing belt. The open top design would give better and quicker access to his revolver. The two most obvious reasons for the design would be either for trench raiding parties or possible for a tank crew member. A compete one-off!

It will also fit a Colt Eley. 455 or Smith & Wesson .455 New Service revolvers and a PO8 Luger!
