Rare WW2 German Flare Pistol Ammunition Storage Container

This is a Second World War issued German flare pistol ammunition storage container. As with most German manufacturing of this period, the container is beautifully made and over engineered. Made from Bakelite it has 5 compartments for safe storage of 26.5mm flare pistol ammunition. The original paper label and rubber o'ring are still intact on the lid and container. Both lid and container are dated 1941 with the same makers code "bdl". Ideal to display with inert rounds along side a double or single barreled German Flieger Leuchpistole L Flare or Mod 34 pistol.
