RARE WWII Dated SMLE Leather Sling

This is a rare 1940 dated brown leather sling for the SMLE rifle. Partially visible is the makers initials which look to be H&? followed by 1940. The sling has been made to the standard First World War military pattern for use on the SMLE or P14 rifles, both of which were in service in 1940. Incredibly it still retains the original leather boot lace cord.
