RARE Deactivated Indian SLR 1A1 Rifle

Rarely seen in the UK, an RFI - Royal Factory Ishapore SLR 1A1 rifle, chambered in 7.62mm. This virtually unknown variant of the SLR was produced in-house by India. As part of the Commonwealth India was permitted to make a military pattern or version of the then standard infantry rifle - the L1A1 for use by its own forces, redsignating it the "1A1". This example is dated 1973 and has matching numbers with its correct woodwn furniture. A rare SLR variant.
