Inert WWI French VB Rifle Grenade

This is a First World War French VB rifle grenade or Viven-Bessiere. It was fired from a Lebel rifle using a grenade sleeve that was fitted to the rifle. This example has the maker initials oon the body and "ECP 26" on the brass percussion cap.
