This is a 1960s Walther PPK fitted with a dummy aluminum removable silencer. The pistol is dated 1962 the same year Sean Connery starred in the classic 007 movie Dr No. However this PPK has been in service with the Baverian State police. The frame has the initials "LP By" which means Landpolizei Bayern this translate to Bavarian State Police. This type of unit marking dates back to the post war break-up and US occupation of Germany. Starting in 1950, American issued guns and the independet municipal police forces were phased out, however only the original Landpolizei continued stamping its Walther pistols this way into the 1960s. A genuine cold war PPK that was used by the German state police! An idea gun for the PPK or James Bond collector.

This PPK has its original factory finish, grips and correct magazine. Included are several inert 7.65mm rounds. Deactivated with a working action.
