Deactivated Madsen M50 SMG

This is a Danish Madsen M50 sub-machine gun, chambered in 9mm. As the designation suggests it was introduced in 1950. Its simple, robust and compact design saw large numbers exported worldwide and used by many different armies as well as convert units and gorilla groups. In the early 1950s it underwent intensive trials against the Sterling SMG. During the Vietnam War US troops came up against communist forces arms with M50s, which saw the US special forces the Green Berets adopted them. This example could to be a contender for one that saw action, with even wear and tear throughout. Deactivated with its original bolt that will lock back on the grip safety and then return under spring tension when released.
