This is a great example of a Second World War Nazi MG34 that has been German armourer rebuilt. The gun was originally made in 1942 by Waffen Werke, Brunn and given serial number 4336a. Whilst in service it required repairing afterwhich it was then given the new serial number of 6242. Note all the original numbers have been "struck out" and same number punch used to apply the new serial numbers. Once assembled and tested the stock and securing collar were then numbered to the gun, after which it would have retruned into service. The gun is covered in a plethora of Nazi Waffen stamps and codes and carries the correct DOT acceptance stamps WaA63. DOT are estimated to have produced around 19,400 MG34's in 1942 with this gun being around number 8,840th.

Deactivated to a very early and sympathic specification.
