This is a  WWII Hungarian made Femaru Model 37M with low 5 digit serial number (84299). It was first introduced in 1937 with production finally ending in 1945. The known serial range used in 1940 was from 61352 to 95734.  This one being produced whilst Hungary fought along side Nazi Germany. These excellent pistols were used by both German and Hungarian forces throughout the second world war. Marked on the trigger  guard with the St. Stephen's Crown acceptance mark, as used on police issued weapons. Comes fitted with an original 37M marked seven shot magazine, wooden grips and lanyard ring. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
