  • Product Code: A1SK2
  • Availability: Out Of Stock

WWII Sten MK5 manufactured by Elkington & Co (makers code M/78). First introduced in 1944, they were used by airborne troops at Arnhem, and in many other deployments and engagements during WWII . The MK5 is essentially a better quality version of the MK2, using the same magazine port and body, magazine and similar bolt assembly. New additions were, wooden stock, pistol grip, No4 foresight and a wooden vertical foregrip. Plus a bayonet attachment. The foregrip was often removed as it was prone to breakages, and eventually discontinued for the same reason. This one has the sling hoop on the top of the stock, this would indicate use by Airborne troops or Commando's.
