Deactivated WW2 Webley MK4 Revolver

This is a Second World War Webley MK4 .38 revolver. The serial number dates to 1943 as the year of production. Only wartime made revolvers were marked "WAR FINISH" and have the military Broad Arrow acceptance stamps. This particular example has been assembled using a Webley-Conversion marked barrel that has then had a front sight fitted. These conversions were made at the request of the MOD who would have used it during training excerises. However the addition of a front sight would suggest that this revolver was then put into service. A great many were allocated to tank and armoured vehicle crews. The shorter barrel making it ideally suited to the cramped confines. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked and dry fired. Comes with an EU/UK deactivation certificate.
