Deactivated WW2 Russian SVT40 Rifle Dated 1941

This is a WW2 Russian SVT40 semi automatic rifle dated 1941, the same year that the German's invaded the Soviet Union code named Operation Barbarossa. A great many of these rifles were captured by the Nazi's as the invasion took the Russian's completely by surprise. This early production SVT would have almost certainly seen active service after Stalin mobilised millions of the men and weaponry to holt the Nazi's push towards Moscow. Deactivated with a moving trigger and working safety.
