This is a WWII dated Russian PPSH41 submachine-gun, dated 1944 with all matching numbers. One of the most iconic machine guns of world war two. During WWII, if captured by German forces, the PPSH41 was often used as a preferred weapon of choice. Simple and clever design meant it could be manufactured quickly and in large numbers, plus it worked in all environments and needed little maintenance. The Star in a Shield symbol on the receiver is the trademark of the Vyatskie Polyany factory who made this gun. Included with the PPSH is one drum and one stick magazine both containing inert 7.62mm rounds. Plus a drum magazine carry pouch and sling. A great set.
Deactivated with bolt that returns under spring tension and that will hold back in the safe position. It can also be partially stripped.
