Deactivated WW2 Russian M38 Carbine Dated 1944

This is a Second World War issued Russian M38 carbine with all matching numbers. The model of 1938 is the shortened variant of the M91 infantry rifle. Introduced in 1938 it was widespread use by Russian forces through WW2. Often a preferred weapon of choice being easier to use in the confines of urban warfare. This example was made by the Izhevsk Arsenal in 1944. Deactivated with a working action.
