A WWII US "Lead Lease" Lee Enfield No4 MKI* .303 Rifle. Only produced during WWII for the British Government, it was manufactured by US firm Savage Stevens under the 'lend lease" agreement to help arm Allied & Common Wealth forces during the war. The receiver is stamped "US PROPERTY" and has the US Ordnance Flaming Grenade acceptance stamp.
