Deactivated WW2 Lend Lease Lee Enfield No4 Rifle

This is a WW2 "Lend Lease" Lee Enfield No4 MKI* Rifle that was made by US firm Savage Stevens. Only made during the war, these rifles were produced for the British war effort and are easily identified by the "US PROPERTY" markings on the receiver. This rifle was shipped across the Atlantic, avoiding the German U-Boats and was then issued among British and Commonwealth forces. The woodwork looks to be original to this example having even colour and blemishes throughout. Included is a spike bayonet, 5 inert rounds and clip. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
