Deactivated WW2 German MG42 Barrel

This is a WW2 German MG42 machine gun barrel. Coded 636 cyq = Metallwarenfabrik Spreewerk, Berlin-Spandau, who are best known for producing P38 pistols during the war. The breech locking block bears the Nazi makers code "dot" for Waffenwerke Bruenn, Bruenn plant, Czechoslovakia. This is unusual because dot didn't make the MG42. Presumably they were contracted to make MG42 parts.
