Deactivated WW2 British Sten MK2

This is a Second World War Sten MK2 made by ROF Fazakerley. The positioning of the trigger cover screw threads indicates that it was made post April 1942. The stock has been issued to at least three different Sten's whilst in service. The magazine housing was produced by Elkington & Co and supplied to Fazakerley for final assembly. This example has a lovely patina and still has remnants of the military Suncorite paint to the magazine, trigger housings and T-stock. Deactivated to current specifications with its original bolt. The rear section can be held in the safety position and will then return under spring pressure. The magazine housing can be rotated into the stowage position and the barrel heat sleeve can be removed. This Sten is available and is currently at the proof house being certificated.
