Deactivated Webley & Scott No3 MK1 Flare/Signal Pistol - Battle Of Britain Era

This is a an early WWII dated Webley & Scott No3 MK1 Flare/Signal Pistol - Battle of Britain era. Dated 1940 with all matching numbers and is broad arrow marked. The pistol grips is taken from the WWI Webley MK6 .455 revolver pattern as are the grips and lanyard hoop. The No3 was used by British and Commonwealth ground forces throughout the war. This sturdy pistol fires a 1.5 inch diameter flare.

 

Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
