Deactivated Walther PP

This is a 1970s Walther manufactured PP Polizeipistole, or police pistol. The proof markings on the barrel indicate it was made in 1973. Note the slide says "Made in W.Germany", during the Cold War when Germany was divided by the Berlin Wall, East Germany being Communist and West being part of NATO. These pistols were used by various branches of the police and military througout Europe. The design is identical to the Nazi wartime pistols. This example has matching numbers and its factory finish, grips and matching. Deactivated to current specifications with moving slide. trigger and hammer.
