Deactivated US Military / Police Spec Stevens Model 77H Pump Action Shotgun

This is a US manufactured Stevens model 77H pump action shotgun, chambered in 12 bore. This example has an 18 inch barrel well below the permitted legally length for civilan ownership, which means it could only be used by the military or police. The Stevens date code dates this gun to 1967 as the year of manufacture. Similar models of Stevens shotguns were used during the Vietnam War and all US state police units used shortened shotguns, most of which were kept in the "trunk" of patrol cars.
