This is a US made Universal M1 carbine, chambered in .30. A great looking variant of the iconic M1, this model was called the "military spec" and features a vented steel top cover in stead of the more traditional wooden one, and could easily be mistaken for an M2 carbine! The magazine contains one inert .30 rounds and the stock is fitted with a sling that is secured with a wartime oil bottle in the stock cavity.
