Deactivated Type 56 SKS carbine Vietnam War Era

This is a Vietnam War era Chinese Communist manufactured Type 56 SKS Carbine. The 1,800.000 million serial range was only used by the Chinese Factory 26 in 1973. This example is serial number 1,802.680 from that batch. During the Vietnam War (1955 to 1975) huge quantities of these carbines were supplied to the Communist forces of the North Vietnamese army who were fighting the South who were being supported by the US and its anti-communist Allies. The SKS shows signs of service use with various marks and blemishes to the woodwork but remanined complete. Deactivated to current specifications with a bolt carrier that returns under spring pressure. The trigger moves and the trigger safety works.
