Deactivated Super Rare WW2 dated Astra 600/43 - Chilean Airforce Contract - One of only 450 ever made

This is a very rare Astra Model 600/43 pistol. The proof stamps date this pistol to 1945. Astra only used the letter P proof in that year and the pistols model designation "600/43" was only used on the German military contract during World War II. In the aftermath of WW2 Astra continued to supply various police and military forces, and were awarded a contract to supply Chile with the Model 600 pistols. It would appear that this pistol was originally destine for Nazi use but never made and was instead issued to the Chilean Airforce in 1950. Only 450 of these pistols were ever made for the Chilean Airforce making them extremely rare and sought after. This beautiful example is in stunning condition with all visible matching numbers and bearing the Chilean Airforce crest and script "Fuerza Aerea De Chile" which translates to Chilean AirForce.
